As soon as your placenta is boxed up and ready for collection, we can arrange a same-day collection from any home address Monday – Friday between 10am–6pm, or you can choose our drop-off service before 4:30pm or 10.30am Saturday.
We always aim to use the quickest shipping option available so you receive your remedies as soon as possible, but we’re happy to work around whatever feels easiest for you after the birth of your baby.
Your placenta cooler pack is designed to maintain the correct temperature for up to 120 hours once the frozen packs are added. This is usually plenty of time for labour and for the cooler box to be shipped back to our facility.

Ask your midwife if they could store your ice packs in their freezer, most midwives are happy to support a mother’s wishes and will do so if they have a freezer on the delivery department.
Birth Partners are often told to go home to get some rest if their partner are not in established labour, if this is the case ask your birth partner to take the cooler pack home with them and to refreeze the ice packs ready for the next morning.
