Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a way to help your body and mind rejuvenate after labour. Personally I don’t use seed oils in any of my products/ food so I didn’t make use of the creams/ oils without my placenta, but each to their own. Postage was easier than expected and communication is great!

Very happy! - posted from Swindon I am very happy with the overall products, communication & turn around. I brought capsules and the balm. Personally it still stands to be a unique postpartum experience to consume your placenta, however what made me think deeply into the idea was the importance of postpartum recovery for myself and my baby. When researching into the idea, what stood out was that it was instinctual for most mammals to consume their placenta after birth. As a first time mum, I don’t have another postpartum to compare them to. However, the main thing that I believed the capsules helped with were my milk supply. I was managing to pump over 1L a day of milk for my baby- to the point my midwife said I was pumping enough for triplets! This was a great achievement as when I decided to stop pumping, my baby had a large freezer supply for her. I also didn’t experience the “baby blues” as everyone described it to be (however I understand that is person to person). The balm was so lovely and it was used for both my baby and myself. It was extremely reassuring that when she had redness in her nappy area and under her neck I was able to give her something I knew was natural. The balm mainly helped my nipples as a breast feeding/pumping mum they do get sore, however easily heals by using the balm as it was extremely soothing. Even though you are given a lot of information, process was extremely straightforward and Nikki was amazing at communicating with us. Our baby came 5 days early on a Monday and we still received a very quick turn around from collection to the capsules delivery. Overall, I am happy with the products and I would recommend cherished placentas. - Thank you again 😊

Incredible- truly 5 starts. We had an amazing experience with Nikki. With almost no notice she personally came to the hospital to collect the placenta and had the most wonderful presence . My husband bought me the full pack, such a perfect postpartum gift. It included capsules (steamed and simple method ), tinctures and face and body oils. All the products were amazing , such good quality and made me feel so rejuvenated after birth . I couldn’t recommend cherished placentas enough !

Cherished placentas was the best post partum gift to myself!!! As this is my second baby, I can truly say that they difference with and without the capsules was considerably different! The Placenta smoothies were amazing!!! Not only did they taste delicious (which I was a bit apprehensive about) but my mood was noticeably elevated by them. The capsules were also brillant and helped to maintain and balance my hormones. I love the tincture as well as this gave me that extra boost if I ever felt myself becoming feeling low or needing a boost. The Recovery oil (which had placenta in it) has been incredible for my baby’s skin, curing little bouts of cradle cap in minutes. Currently I’m at the beginning of the hormone drop (I’m now around 12 weeks post partum) and I find it is amazing for the dry tight feeling skin I’ve been experiencing. I would deffo get the Mothers oil too - I’ve had so many compliments about how amazing my skin looks. I’ve been using it since I gave birth and can’t tell you how glowy my skin has looked and felt. All in all I can’t recommend this service enough. It was such an easy process from picking the placenta package I wanted, having my placenta collected, the speedy placenta processing, quick delivery of the products, but most of all the quality of the products and the results I’ve had. I would like to add that communication has been really amazing and when I asked for my capsules to be processed without chilli because I have an intolerance, I was catered for. If you are thinking of getting your placenta encapsulated, I’d highly recommend it and there’s no better place than Cherished Placentas!!!

I had my first baby a month ago today, and chose Cherished Placentas to honour such a sacred part of my Matrescence and birth. Nikki’s friendly, efficient communication and instructions on what to do started at the first point of contact and carried on right through my birth and into the collection process. Once the products were delivered and all was completed I have had time to use the capsules, baby balm, recovery oil, baby oil, homeopathic remedy etc which came in the lovingly and professionally packaged parcel. Every tincture and potion is very well made and I can report no allergic reactions or sensitivities from me or my baby. He has milk spots on his face which the balm has helped with, and the oil soothes his shedding baby skin on his little feet. I take the medicines religiously and am certain they’ve staved off post natal depression as having a newborn is an intense era! Nikki’s business is very user friendly and non daunting. She made my partner welcome in the group chat and he was very clear from her guidance what he needed to do to pack my placenta on the day of the birth when I wasn’t very able to make decisions. The midwives were also very respectful and open to this concept, I hope that by talking about it and choosing this avenue for honouring my baby’s first home, that awareness has been raised. I had the most amazing experience with Cherished Placentas. Nikki was very polite and made instructions clear to me specially when I booked her services 4 days before my induce date. I booked on Thursday and I literal received the box the next working day, I called many places but she was the one who was willing to help me and provide me with her services. I don’t usually write reviews but Nikki is a must, i was very happy with the services provided, thank you so much for making this experience very smooth for my partner and I.

I had my placenta encapsulated with Nikki and I'm so grateful I did - the process was simple and she was on hand the whole time via WhatsApp which was a really lovely personal touch. I had some difficulties during passing the placenta which resulted in some body trauma but I genuinely feel like having these tablets were what helped me heal so quickly afterwards. I was back at work 4 weeks PP! Feeling energised, healed and super positive 🌟 should I ever have another baby, I will definitely be encapsulated my placenta again ❤️

This was my second time using Cherished Placentas, and I honestly can't recommend them enough.
